Hello, it’s been some time since I posted anything my blog. I’ve been up to too meny things. I sold 8 paintings last month to one client which helped out. Last week my friend lent me some money to start shop.tomshreve.com which is a site through cafepress.com where i send them high resolution files and they put sell prints, posters, clothing, mugs and other things.

"MAKING SPECIALTY COFFEE DRINKS"

“CITY IN ABSTRACTION”
Is a series of abstract MixedMedia paintings of local buildings I have one started it should be finished soon.

“A REAM OF PAPER”
A ream of paper is a project I have been milling over since November 2001. It’s one of those series that I want to drag on or forever. The basic parameters of the series consist of a final 500 images evolving in stages of 5 with each stage being available as prints.
Stage 1
The first stage is the digital stage prints (will be available soon). The digital stage will consist of 100 digital photographic images of nature scenes, the images are computer manipulated. The concept deals with the fear of untamed nature and mechanical domination.
Stage 2
Stage two I’ll be adding paint and/or collage elements to one of the prints identical to what comes form shop.tomshreve.com stage one but this stage will only happen after I have sold 20 prints of a specific image.

“DEFRAGMENTATION OF ME”
I started a book of poems but that is a project that will take some time to get done.
